Our Family
Meet every child by name.
This page is just for you. In August we spent a week in Cartagena with the kids, with their moms and grandmothers, and with the teachers who show up every single morning. These are the photos from that week.
Every child here has a name, a favorite food, and a plan for who they're going to be. Several of them want to be doctors. Take your time with them. You helped build the classroom where they wrote those dreams down.
The Students
Their student ID cards
Thirty-one cards, one for each child. Their name, their photo, and in their own words what they like to eat, who they live with at home, and what they want to be when they grow up. It's in Spanish, exactly the way they told it to us.

A week in photos
The welcome the kids prepared themselves, a day at the pool, lunch out, and a lot of dancing. Nothing here is staged.

Thank you for making room at the table
None of this happens without you. The classroom, the lunches, the ride to the pool, the teachers who show up every single morning. You're the reason these kids had this week, and the reason the 232 children still on our waiting list have something to hope for.
